Ultrasonic Technology in the 21st Century

SoniSys currently offers the following commercial test instruments.  These instruments are non-destructive and require minimal sample preparation.  Place your samples flat on the testing surface and begin.  Testing services are also offered using either of these instruments. 

This is OPUS, the first commercially available Out-of-Plane Ultrasonic System.  It measures ZD Longitudinal Specific Stiffness and Soft-Platen Thickness .  Other values such as  ZD Young’s Modulus, Apparent Density and Impedance are also available.

OPUS

This is our 3-Dimensional Ultrasonic Test Instrument.  It is the only instrument of it’s kind and is great  for research and development due to it’s versatility. Measurements in the plane and thickness direction of paper are integrated into a single apparatus. Whether your testing needs are limited to the stiffness polar angle, require a comprehensive evaluation of stiffness properties, or involve the demonstration of a new test method, the emphasis is on achieving the best possible measurements.
