Installation and safety
The glass-tube meter must be installed and operated within the limits stated in the manufacturer manual.
- Mount the meter upright within 6 degrees of true vertical, with the inlet at the bottom and outlet at the top.
- Avoid pressure and flow surges and do not exceed the applicable pressure or temperature limits.
- Keep both meter windows securely fastened during operation.
- Do not service, disassemble, or repair the flowmeter while it is pressurized.
Replacement relationship
Brooks identifies the GT1600 Series as the current configurable retrofit family for Full-View 1100 Series meters, including Models 1110, 1114, 1140, and 1144. A replacement must be selected to match the original flow range, calibration fluid and conditions, connection arrangement, materials, and dimensional configuration; GT1600 is not a universal one-code substitution for 1110CG71BNHAA.
