Installation and safety notes
- Install the meter within 6 degrees of true vertical, with the inlet at the bottom and outlet at the top.
- Keep the protective sleeve over the glass tube and fasten the meter windows securely.
- Open process valves slowly and avoid pressure or flow surges.
- Do not service or repair the meter while it is pressurized.
- When isolated in liquid service, drain the meter where thermal expansion could pressurize trapped liquid.

Brooks identifies the GT1600 Series as its current configurable retrofit family for Full-View 1100 Series meters, including Model 1110. A replacement must be selected from the original connection geometry, flow requirement, fluid properties, pressure, temperature, and scale data rather than from the legacy suffix alone.
