- A compatible CTI-Cryogenics compressor, helium supply and return lines, and cold-head power connection are required.
- The Cryo-Torr Interface is required for a single pump used with 9000 or 8510 Series compressors and when distributing compressor power to multiple Cryo-Torr pumps.
- One Cryo-Torr Interface can distribute power to a maximum of three Cryo-Torr cryopumps.
- Install a high-vacuum isolation valve between the cryopump and chamber to permit isolation during rough pumping, cooldown, and regeneration.
- The preferred regeneration method uses heated, dry inert purge gas such as nitrogen or argon.
