Installation and Service Notes
The MR3000 instructions establish the following operating and maintenance practices.
- Mount the flowmeter vertically and minimize external vibration and internal flow variation.
- Install mating 1/8-27 MNPT fittings with no more than 60 in-lb of torque; use thread sealant or PTFE tape.
- Tighten the 10-32 mounting screws to no more than 5 in-lb.
- On startup, slowly purge trapped air or gas from the meter.
- Read a ball float at its center or a bullet float at its groove. The exact float style and material are not established for this configured identifier.
- Clean wetted removable components with clean water and a soft brush. Do not use solvents or strong bases.
- Do not use hazardous fluids or exceed 100 psig or 150°F (65°C).
